All Dolled Up!

As a gift to our mom, my family agreed to have formal, holiday-themed pictures taken. I decided it was high time that I style my hair down and embrace my natural curls that are usually squished into a bun for most of the year. I wore an old-fashioned black dress to go along with our family’s black and red color scheme, and I tied a polka dotted black sash around my waist for a pop of color. I didn’t go too hardcore with my makeup, but just used a beauty blender to apply my Jane Iredale Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream and the Pixi Mattelustre Rose Naturelle shade to add some color to my lips. Since I don’t normally get all dolled up, it seemed only proper that I document my look on my lifestyle blog!
