Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day! 🌸🌷🌳🌿

As a little side-note, I'm pretty sure I have the largest college workload in the history of mankind (I have 19 credits this semester πŸ˜…), but I still wanted to take some time to celebrate Earth Day here on the blog. (I'm looking forward to the summertime when I can blog a lot more than I do now)!

The following pictures exemplify spring taking over my college campus at Liberty University. It all started with the cherry blossoms blooming quite early in February up till now, in April, where the azalea is beautifully transforming the grounds into a vibrant shade of pink!

Looks like sunshine! It lasted for most of March.

Beautiful magnolia. It never lasts long enough...

I usually love to take scenic walks for some mental clarity and friendly exercise, but the incredible amounts of homework I have been dealing with lately have slowly converted me into a hermit who stays inside all day. Today, I decided that would change. It was lovely to see new flowers blooming by the Welcome Center and Montview Mansion.

If you’re in the same boat as me and you find it hard to get away from your desk, I encourage you to get outside today. If for no other reason, go outside to celebrate Earth Day! (And pick up any litter you see while you're at it; a little difference is better than none, I think πŸ˜‰).

What kinds of flowers are blooming near you? Have you been able to go outside at all during the corona pandemic? Hope you're all staying healthy and safe! πŸ’—
