Visiting Scotland's Capital City

After reaching out to many music blogs to advertise my music video release, surprisingly a Scottish-based blog called The Fountain responded and said they'd like to interview me. It was a very exciting opportunity considering that Scotland is one of my favorite countries and part of my ancestral heritage. I was reminded of my trip to Edinburgh with my family back in 2017, and I realized I never blogged about the trip so I'd like to do that now (better late than never)!

We only spent a couple days in Edinburgh during our Globus bus tour which was enough time for the city to make a lasting impression on me. If I had to describe the city in a few words, I'd describe it as a medieval-looking, stone architecture wonderland! Visiting Edinburgh Castle and watching their spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo show was like the icing on the cake. I'd love to go back someday and once again listen to the Scottish bagpipers busking on the streets, shop for lambswool scarves in the shops and admire the bird's eye view of the city from the top of the castle.

I always feel nostalgic whenever I watch the video I edited of our trip to Edinburgh because it reminds me of all the sights and sounds and Scottish culture that I absorbed within the span of two short, but memorable days...

Have you ever visited Scotland, or is it on your travel bucket list?

Is "Braveheart" one of your favorite movies as well?

Let me know in the comments below! :)
