Learning New Flowers

In past spring seasons, I always liked to admire the different flowers that would bloom, but never really cared to learn their names. This year, I felt inspired by my mother's passion for gardening to learn more about the many flowers that she likes to plant. Over the past month, I've learned to identify the following flowers...

Allium

Bleeding Hearts

Lilacs

Blue Bells

Tulips

Next to Andromeda

Hyacinths

Grape hyacinths

Azalea

Rhododendron

Roses

Columbine

Clematis

Irises

Over the spring, I've also become more observant of the way the flowers bud before they fully blossom. It is fascinating to see the small buds grow and unfold into beautiful flowers. I guess you could say that I am starting to better appreciate the transformation of spring as well as the virtue of growth that God has embedded within nature!

I recently uploaded a video on my Youtube channel where I give a brief tour of our gardens, so you can watch that if you're interested:

I also filmed a montage of the flowers in our backyard during the past few months. If you'd like to see some close-ups of flowers while listening to calming music, I definitely recommend watching it!
