It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

It’s always pleasant to see Christmas transform the town you live in. The wrapping of festive lights on all the street lamp poles, the big Christmas trees set up near public buildings, and the humbling manger scenes that remind you of the true meaning of Christmas all combine to create a joyous and festive atmosphere. Tonight, my college roommate and I decided to simply walk around campus and admire all the holiday decorations that our college had taken the time to set up.

In front of the DeMoss Student Center stood a ginormous Christmas tree adorned with many lights and red bows.

Along the opposite sidewalks were multiple trees heavily decked with white lights so that it looked like we were walking down a winter wonderland.

We also walked into the visitor center where a big tree filled up most of the lobby and had a blue and silver theme with its ornaments and tinsel.

As the title of this post says, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on my college campus! I’m happy that my school was passionate about setting the holiday spirit with their festive decorations of grandeur before we students head back home to spend Christmas with our families. I look forward to going home next week and spending quality time with the ones I love. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
